Splash Mountain in January

Anyone have any idea if splash mountain will indeed be closed until 1/31 as currently planned?

I have one little kid very excited to go on the ride for the first time but it looks like it may be closed our whole trip. I remember a few years ago it was listed as closed in January but when we walked by it, it was up and running.
