We are scheduled to fly out of Atlantic City on Spirit Wed evening. There is the potential for some bad weather in the forecast. I noticed on Spirit's website that for the last storm they issued a "Weather Buster Policy" that waived the change penalty and difference in fare price for the 2 day period of bad weather. My question is, Does anyone know when they usually put these things in place? I would love to try to get out on Tuesday because the only flight I see on Thurs is 12:25 PM and there goes pretty much our first whole day. It would cost us a lot as a family of 5 to change things with all the fees. Any thoughts?

I think they would post this advisory a couple days before the storm. They want to make sure that the storm is going to happen. I noticed on the Jetblue website that they posted a couple days before the storm. I would keep checking the website and then call ASAP. The phones will get busy. We're flying out in two weeks and I am worried about the weather.
