I have three boys who will be 3,4, and 6 at the time of or next trip (Sept 2008- we were just there and had a GREAT time!). we did Hoop-dee-doo this time and we really liked it.:) I thought I might try something different next time, and am on the dining plan. I don't care for country music, but I think the boys might like dancing and playing at the BBQ. Then again, they might also like fire dancing at the Aloha. I know I have forever to decide, but I wondered if anyone had taken toddler/young boys to either and what they thought. :confused3

Oh my, the last time we went to the Spirit of Aloha was when my son was 6 years old (10 years ago). He still remembered the show vividly. Absolutely bring your boys there at least once. We will be going to the Luau next year. Thanks to the Deluxe DDP = 3 TS each per day = eat wherever you want!!

Have taken my sons (then 1-2 and 3-4) twice to Backyard BBQ. The younger was a little young to really enjoy it. The older one loves dancing with the characters - and dancing in general. The food is okay. My kids like the novelty ice creams for dessert. My husband appreciates the "free" adult beverages.
