We are sitting Catergory 2 at the Spirit of Aloha Show. Do you get to pick your seats, is it first come first serve or are they automatically assigned?

Thanks!

They are automatically assigned. They will have a host/hostess direct you to your pre-assigned table.

I am so anxious for this show, as we are taking our youngest grandkids here. We ended up getting tier one....hopefully it will be fun for them

2009 - confirmed with Spirit of Aloha CM that seating assignments within each category are done before you get there.... and based on the number in your party and when you made your ADR. The earlier you make your reservation before the day of your ADR, the better your seating. Seemed to be true, we booked category 1 right on the first day we could (was 90 days then, now 180) and we were right up front.

Enjoy the show and be sure to stay for the fire dancer.

This is mostly true...the one exception is that your party size can affect where you sit. For example, their tables for 5 are at the back of a row (where they can add a chair on the back end of the table). So, if you are a party of 5 and book the very first second possible, you will still not be at the very front.

Their seating plan can be quite complex and varied, as they can move tables together to accomodate most any party size. But you are correct, as a general rule, the earlier you book, the better your seats in that particular tier of seating.

Anyone know the likelihood of the show getting canceled during the first week or two of December? I remember the last week of November being a little cool at night - jacket weather.

We went early Dec. and they did not cancel for light rain. It was also cold. They do have heaters for the guests but I felt sorry for the performers. Also, there wasn't any audience participation.

One night was cancelled and the performers came upstairs in the main house and performed for people waiting to get into the restaurants. It was great!
