Spirit of Aloha Questions

I have called to book Spirit of Aloha for our January trip but as of Monday there was still nothing in the system. I do have some questions for people who have been though.

1. Are there any differences between the earlier and later shows?

2. Since we are going in January, if we go to the later show and there is no sun, are we going to be freezing? We are Canadian and we live in Winnipeg so we can handle cold but I would like to be comfortable during dinner and not be shivering!

3. How long is the show?

If it's too cold, they'll cancel it. I forget how cold it has to get before they'll do that.

1. The shows are exactly the same.

2. We usually go every year and the only time they ever cancelled was Feb 2009 and the temp was in the low 30's. They will also cancel if the weather is bad as in storms.

3. The show is about 2 hours.

i would reccomend the later one as it would make the fire dancer part better to see and more enjoyable. we did the luau last year and that was the only thing i'd change, but my kids are small and have to eat early.

were from ns and contemplated it for this feb and decided we'd rather not as we know it can get chilly there in feb. the first few nites we were there the kids had hats, mitts and polar fleece blankets on them.

the show like pp said is about 2 hrs but dining is intermingled in there through out.
