We're off to Florida at the end of June... so excited you wouldn't believe... and have been giving some thought to our evening entertainment.

Did Mickey's Polynesian Luau a few years ago when the kids were much younger and really enjoyed it. Was wondering what the new show was like... before we part with another $300.

Can't seem to find much information anywhere so any help or advice would be greatfully appreciated.

Happy days! :cool1:

It's an okay show, but we all thought that the food was slightly poor, particularly for the price.

Our two DS' found the show boring  but DD enjoyed it. The food was brought out in stages, starting with some kind of pineapple bread, which was nice. The main course was very mediocre and we all found the chocolate desert particularly disgusting! Also, (this is probably just me! LOL) I don't like the tacky silver "metal-plate-things" they bring the food on, and the service was a little slow.

I would give it a try if the pictures and style of the show appeal to you, but there is little (no?) character interaction and don't expect amazing food! Go to 'Ohana instead IMO!

It is a themed restaurant within the Polynesian Resort. It is an "all you can eat" themed table service feast with some delicious variety of meats served from 3-foot skewers! There is shrimp, turkey, steak & pork - plus some delicious dipping sauces. There is no menu as such, you are just brought the food selections.

There are exceptional views over the Seven Seas Lagoon (great for watching the Electric Water Pageant) and the atmosphere is buzzing.

It is $24.99 for adults and $10.99 for children.

We loved the Spirit of Aloha show. The girls got to get up and hula and I thought the dancers were amazing. I enjoyed the mandarin salad, and roast chicken. You also get to drink as much alcohol as you want and my DH certainly got his money worth of beer!!! Have a look at the photos of the show
