I haven't visited over here much, but I hope someone here can help me. We are planning a nice long trip around Halloween - almost 2 whole weeks - to also include DH's birthday.
This is our first time with AP instead of booking a package. We were planning to get the DDE card which gives the discount on only the later show. I have also read that the late luau can be cancelled in cooler weather. Does late October get that cool? Does anyone have any experience with what is considered too cool temperature-wise for this?

I am trying to decide on the must do ADR's this week. DH is thinking of Crystal Palace for his birthday - he loves Pooh Bear!
TIA

We went down last October and it was absolutely beautiful then! I have never had the experience of having them cancel the show due to cold weather, but if i had the choice of the Spirit of Aloha or CP I would def. choose CP!

We did SOA in October and it was still very hot. I think by cooler weather, they mean a lot cooler than October. We loved the show and thought the food was very good as well.

they say 50 or below they will cancel....go with NO WORRIES...I'll be down there the 21st - 29th myself HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP!!!pirate:

Thank you all.

I was really hoping the late show would be safe b/c that works much better for my plans.

Fortunately we don't have to choose between SOA and CP - But now DH is hemming & hawing over his Birthday dinner. I might suggest CP for a different night & still let him stew over what to choose. He is now leaning towards Raglan Road. :confused3

We are planning on Ohana's breakfast the same morning for SOA & just having a total-stay-at-the-resort-day that day. :beach:

Our other hopeful ADR's will be CRT for Breakfast, (we have done dinner twice) LTT for a MNSSHP night, CM for dinner (did breakfast last time), Akershus (I am Scandanavian - gotta have it!) and Donald's Breakfastosaurus just because...
