Spirit of Aloha Luau vs. SeaWorld Luau?

Has anyone been to the luau they discuss on the seaworld board? I'm wondering how it compares to the Poly Spirit of Aloha??? Which is better or should both be avoided?

We have the Spirit of Aloha in our itinerary but my family is not too excited about it and I don't know that I want to talk them into it based on a lot of the feedback from disers

We're staying at the Poly so I thought it would be fun and I might regret not going if I see everyone else having a good time

I have done the Luau at the Polynesian 3 times My family loves it especially my husband he loves the salad =. Kids really enjoy being able to get on stage for awhile and dance. The food is good the entertainment is good. I think it should be experienced once especially if you never plan on making to the islands. My only suggestion is to book it as soon as you can, because it seems our seats were in the bottom front row, last year was last minute and I really didnt like the seats we had our waiters and the tray right in front of us so every time she brought food out there she was quite annoying not her fault though.
This Dec. we are going to try Seaworld, I just want to see a different show.

I didn't realize there even was a Sea World luau . But we did the Spirit of Aloha luau for the first time in September and we loved it. We thought the food was great and the show was cute . I read alot of not-so-good reports before I booked it, but I decided we needed to experience it for ourselves to decide whether or not it was worth it . For our family, it was worth the money and we had a very nice time . Plus we were staying at the Poly at the time so it made it a little more exciting .

Not one of the choices you mentioned but I would eat at Ohana at Poly!1
