We just returned from our last trip to WDW (May 26-June 1) and we had ressies for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show on May 29 @ 8:00 PM. We were staying at the WL and we decided to drive over to the Poly instead of using WDW transportation. I felt like the dinner & show was overpriced. Be forewarned - when you purchase your tickets, you will be told to be at the dinner show by 7:30 PM. I guessed that this would give the servers ample time to sit everyone - wrong. You end up standing in a line for 30 minutes which I thought was outrageous for the price you pay for the show. They do take a family picture during the waiting time which they will sell to you for $27.00. The food was OK: chicken, pork ribs, vegtables, rice, and a volcano cake dessert. You also have a choice of soft drinks, wine, or beer. If you a tropical drink (pina colada, etc.), the cost is extra. There are three portions of the show. The first short portion takes place before the meal, then there is another short portion which takes place between the meal and dessert, and the main portion of the show is after dessert. My nephew really enjoyed the last portion of the show which has dances from several pacific islands. I don't think I would spend the $ again. If you have any specific questions, let me know.
