I can't find any reviews on this...anybody done it and what did ya think? If I read the DDP right, it takes 2 TS meals per person for this. Is that right?

and loved it. We have the tables in wonderland discount which covers the tip basically but the unlimited adult beverages were a big plus for us!

I've read mixed reviews on this one so when we went last May I figured it may not be as good as Hoop de Doo. For my family, however it was better! The kids loved the dancers, especially the fire dancer! Ribs were delish and the pineapple bread...I don't even have words! enoy!

We did it a couple years ago. It was okay. I'm glad we did it but I don't need to see it again anytime soon. We had excellent seats in the front. The second half of the show is much better than the first-the fire thrower was great. The food was good, too. We have also done the Hoop Dee Doo, it is hard to compare the two, they are completely different shows IMO.

It is 2TS, and I think the seating is booked a little different now than it was when we did it, it used to be first to book got better seats, but I think they've changed that...maybe someone else can help with that. (That's important because I've heard the back seats are not very good--you can't see much).

We love the Luau. We've been doing it every year for as long as I can remember. It's a fun show, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere.

We are planning on doing the 5:15 show, but I've been wondering about whether this show would be ok for a 3 year old and a 1 year old? What do you think?

We did it last year and it was the only thing my DH requested for this trip. We paid out of pocket for the Tier 1 seating and it was like being on the stage. The food was great. The fire dancer was fantastic. Even my DGS who was 10 loved it and said he wants to do it on every trip. Go and enjoy it.

We never wanted to spend the $$$$ for the show, but did it this Summer with free dining and was surprised. Excellent show, a little slow at the start but it got better as the night went on. The salad was AMAZING. The RIBS great.

If on free dining would do again.

:yay:

Unless you are staying on Club Level and have someone with pull making your reservation at exactly the first possible moment. We paid $280 for Cat I (because of the reports of being so close to the stage). Reality: if you are not in the front 50% of the seats of Cat I you WILL NOT see the show. My view was 80% obscured. Behind me, happy campers sat in their Free Dining Cat II seats, all with great views (and $280 extra dollars in their pockets). When I asked the person arranging the seating how one got the good seats, she bruskly replied "if you don't call in the first hour of availability, all the good seats are gone". Many people were talking about their "sucky seats" at the pool that night. I understand the show was pretty good, for those who got to see it (grin).

My family loved it. The story to the show is somewhat corny, but the traditional dances are very good. The flame thrower is awesome. I got pulled up on stage, and got to kiss the guy during his Maori demonstration (it was tough, but someone had to do it) I ended up with most of his tattoo make up on my face, but it was so worth it (my DS was somewhat shocked!)

The food was pretty good too. DS (7 at the time) enjoyed pretty much everything, as did me and DH. It was fun. I can see how having 3rd tier seats might be an issue, however. The tables are pretty long, and there are two sets to each row (I think) So you could be quite far back.
