Looking at the pictures of the Spirit of Aloha on All Ears it appears anyone not lucky enough to get one of the tables in front might have a hard time seeing. I know tables are assiged according to when you book. I made ADRs for both Hoop Dee Doo and Spirit of Aloha back in early April for two people, but then in mid June had to call to add another person. They had to cancel and rebook which of course puts us further down the chain. We are going in late Sept, by the way. Do you think our tables would be decent for both Spirit of Aloha and Hoop Dee Doo? We are paying for these OOP and would hate to not be able to see at either show.

I've been to both. At the Luau we were lucky enough to get a table that was one table back from center front. We booked about 5 months out, picked up our tickets at the front desk the day we checked in, and arrived at the Luau podium an hour early. I can't say how they place people. some say it's based on when you book, some say it's when you pick up your tickets, while others say it's when you check in at the podium.
We booked HDDR 8 months out, but 2 days before our show, Hurricane Charley closed down Ft.W. So, we had to rebook for a show 5 days later. We got our tickets right then, checked in at the podium early..we were the second family there, and still ended up in the side balcony. So, who knows how they seat you.

Anyway....I really think that all the seats are basically decent ones. I had a great view up in the balcony. And at the Luau I didn't notice anyone complaining if they were at one of the back tables.

Been to both several times and can say that even though the closer ones are a better view, the rest are not bad at all. The way the tables are setup allows for all to get a good view. The one problem is at Hoop-Dee-Doo. The balcony tables, you need to turn around to view the show. I have never been in the balcony but others have reported this is as a problem...smjj
