Spirit Airlines Was Great!

We just returned from our 8 day WDW vacation and I'm pleased to tell all future Spirit Airline travellers, we had no problem with our flights between DTW and MCO...in fact we took off 15 minutes early on today's departure!!!

AHHHHH....that is is great to hear! We fly Spirit too from DTW to MCO and have no complaints! Our next trip is 3/13-3/21 and the time is going ever so slowly!!! Glad you had a nice experience with Spirit.

I had a great experience with Spirit also. I flew Dec 1 and 6. I was a bit hesitant, as I had never flown them, but they were great!! What really surprised me was how much I saw the cabin crew. They were up and down the aisles a lot! More than I've seen on Delta. They were out there interacting with guests, etc...One guy was hilarious and kept getting on the speaker to tell jokes. It was just nice to see cabin crew who really seemed to enjoy being out there interacting with everyone!

I really enjoyed Spirit and wouldn't hesitate to fly them again!

Here's another two thumbs up for Spirit airlines. I fly them 3-4 times a year and they have always been fantastic. The one time my flight was delayed by 3 hours they gave every passenger a $50.00 future flight credit--can't beat that customer service! We will be flying with Spirit to Orlando in just 5 days!!!! Can't wait! We have also found the flight attendents to be great, especially one young man who was soooo funny, we told him with his great personality he should be working for Disney, but he said although he loves the mouse he only pays in small bits of cheese and he needs the whole chunck since he has a family to support!

My family and I always fly Spirit when going to Orlando or New Jersey out of Detroit. About 6 times so far and have never had any problems to speak of. Our last trip to WDW in September, the Captain walk down the aisle introducing himself and talking to everyone! And a plus is that it's always the lowest fare we find!

Another satisfied Spirit customer here as well. I've flown Spirit 10 times over the last two years - once since 9/11 - and every time has been wonderful. Only one delay out of the 10 trips, due to a malfunctioning emergency exit (of all things!). We, too, received a $50 credit towards a future flight. For the price, you certainly can't beat it!

Has anyone had any experience with Spirit out of Chicago?
One of my husband's co-workers has flown them a couple of times and has had a MISERABLE experience both times (hours of delays, which we cannot afford since we are usually flying out to take the Disney cruise). He is the only person I've heard from who has flown them out of Chicago...info. on any other experiences would be appreciated, in case we ever see a really good deal through them someday.

I flew out of Chicago 12/1 on Spirit. Like I said above, my experience was great!! My flight left at 10 am and I arrived a little after 8. I spent about 25 minutes waiting in line (I started at the end of the turnstile area). Our flight left a few minutes early, actually, and we arrived into Orlando 20-25 minutes ahead of our scheduled time. The crew at the check-in desk were very friendly and speedy. While in line, I spoke with some others who had all flown Spirit before and they related that they had always had speedy check-ins and on-time departures. I'd definetly fly them again!

If you do fly them, they flight out of Terminal 5, the international one. When DH was dropping me off, we didn't see it on 1-3, so we thought we had just missed it. He dropped me at 2, so I'd be halfway between wherever I needed to be, once I checked inside. Too bad I had to go all the way to 5!! But that terminal was dead compared to the others, so that was nice!

If we can get a good deal and fly in the day before (which we try to do now anyway), maybe we will give them a try! I am a sucker for a good deal.

I have flown Spirit 3 yimes from DTW and love them. Have never had any problems!
We will be flying with them next year to MCO!
