We are flying Spirit airlines on our upcoming trip in a few weeks. I know that Spirit does not participate with RAC and we will not receive our departing boarding passes at our room. My question is will the front desk print you a copy of your boarding pass if you ask them to? Thanks so much!

The answer is maybe. I tried last December and because we had to pay for our checked bags, the concierge at the Grand Floridian was not able/allowed to help us check in and print our BPs. So if you are checking bags the answer may be no. If you are only going with carryon bags, then yes, I have had my Bps printed both at most resort and on occasion at guest services at the parks.

We fly Spirit all the time. From home, we print our boarding passes. When at WDW, we just print them out at the Spirit counter at MCO. As long as you input the info yourself and don't use their agent, you don't get charged. Never had to pay to print one at the airport. They aren't as evil as many make them out to be.

Thanks! I thought there was a fee for printing them out at the airport kiosk but just found out I was wrong :).

I really thought they announced this at one point. But I may have gotten them confused with someone else

You can't confuse Spirit with any other US airline. Last summer the nixed the announced $2 fee to passengers who used airport kiosks to print their BP.

I don't think the fee for printing a Spirit boarding pass at an airport kiosk was ever implemented, even though they announced it. But if the counter agent prints it, there's a fee. Not all Spirit locations have the kiosks.

The first time I flew Spirit, the RAC desk printed my boarding pass. I had to take my luggage with me, but the RAC desk at CSR had no problem printing my boarding pass for me. The second time I used them, I had a rental car, so was not using DME. Guest Services at AKL had no problem printing the boarding passes the night before. The third time I flew Spirit, I was leaving from RPR over at Universal. Guest Services over there had no problem printing the boarding passes for us.

I know that Latrobe airport (which we are flying out of) has the kiosks. That doesn't matter since I will print them out at home. I'm assuming that MCO has them??
