Spirit Airline fees

Does anyone know how much Spirit Airlines charge for you to pick your seats ahead of time? I see on their website that they charge a "nominal fee", but can't find the actual charge listed anywhere.

I searched the sight also and could not find the prices. Last time we booked they were 6 and 12 but I know they have gone up since then. they may be 8 and 15 now. Their sight is terrible. I wanted to book a flight but could not see the available seating. Their baggage fee is also high at 19 a bag.

I believe it's $12 to choose a seat in advance (some are $20) and the checked baggage fee is $19 (of course these fees are one way). Outrageous, isn't it?

I booked a flight to Orlando from Detroit for $134. So, if I want to choose my seat in advance, it will be another $24 and to check a bag another $38. So, a $134 flight will cost a total of $196 - it's crazy. I may try to do a carry on for this trip. I usually don't travel light, but I may have to find a way!

they also charge for soda and snacks. I paid $3 for a coffee and a muffin.
They even charge for a drink of water.......no frills airline
