I love those!! My grandfather used to love circus peanuts they were so gross.

Or how about getting toothbrushes? Growing up a house in my neighborhood gave out toothbrushes and their house always got egged on mischief night.

Even with my husband being a dentist and we can buy them so cheap, I still would not give out toothbrushes. I got some Halloween pokemon card packs to give out to the kids I found at costco in addition to the candy this year.

I ate all the junk when I was a kid, now I'd only eat chocolate something. Yes those foam peanut things were awful, and I wasn't crazy about the orange slices either (a jellied candy in the shape of an orange segment with sugar on top.)

There is only licorice. And it is usually dark brown or black. Licorice is a flavor, not a color. There is no such thing as red licorice etc.

Side note: my hubby showed me a video on some social media site where someone was wrapping raw brussel sprouts in Ferrero Rocher chocolate wrappers. I said don't you dare! That would be THE fastest way to get your house egged or worse!

I LOVE black jelly beans. My mom used to put a bag of the Brach's black jelly beans in my Easter basket when I was a kid.

Those peanut butter kisses things in the black and orange wrappers.

Nothing worse than thinking you got the good molasses kind and biting into one of those terrible peanut butter abominations. Luckily they’re not common here.

PREACH! love licorice. everyone else in the household sez it tastes nasty YET they complain if I go too light on anise in recipes that call for it (the flavor for me is so similar I can't see enjoying one and not the other).

Black licorice must be a love-it-or-hate-it thing. My dad loves it. I love it. My mom and sister hate it. My husband loathes it, but my kids both love it.

Today the supermarket had a ton of candy corn bags leftover at less than half price. The Snickers and other good stuff were still a measly “fake sale” of maybe 50 cents off per bag, the same as well before Halloween.

Most of the candy that people list is not candy I ever got in my Trick or Treat bag. People just didn't buy it. I don't think Smarties are too popular, but I enjoy those. The ones that I actually got that I dislike: York Peppermint patties, Almond Joy & Mounds, and one old guy in our neighborhood had Sugar Daddy pops. I also have a love hate relationship with Milk Duds. I like them, but my teeth do not.

My Mom liked the York and my Dad liked coconut so no candy went to waste.

Not necessarily bad, and not actually candy...but strange/different.

A girl I follow on line was giving kids the option of candy or Ramen. Ramen won!

A couple of guys that my husband knows was giving people the option of a potato. He ran out of potatoes before candy.

I really didn’t want popcorn balls, pretzels, or raisins either, but those weren’t as bad as the three above.

Necco wafers are the worst. One of em tasted like tooth paste.

Circus peanuts. Horrid.
Bazooka bubble gum. It's always hard and loses flavor quickly.
Dots. HArd, sticky, and not very tasty. Nice concept. Poor execution.
Starlight mints and butterscotch. C'mon this isn't the 40s.

Mary Janes and Bit O'honey. Meh, not my favorites. In fact both are way down the list. There are far more things better than worse. But they're just not bad enough to get on my most hated.
