well is it?

I think I've decided to stick just w/touring plans for this trip but for future trips i'd think about TGM.

What I like about touring plans is:
the ability to look at lots of different ways to tour
the spreadsheets and colors
the busy day/best day charts
what to do w/boys and girls and different ages.
the price

Given that I've got every ADR I wanted except Le Cellier, am in single digits :cool1: , and am not going at a super busy time :crowded: :goodvibes I think this trip I'm ok w/the info I have.

If Mike's is more customized I'd surely do it next time. Sounds like a much better value than a UG that's 6 mos out of date.

I do highly recommend touring plans. it's cheaper and more useful than any of the books we bought!

Well, I have a boy and a girl. They want to do dumbo and space mountain. And we're traveling with my MIL so you can imagine the age/interest range. I was able to customize my plans more with TGM than I was with UG. Plus, the sheer volume of info at TGM has been incredibly useful bcs I started planning several months ago (yes, as others have mentioned, this info is available elsewhere but I no longer have to search through a bunch of bookmarks- it's all at his site). If you have time to really make use of it, I recommend TGM. If you just want to print out a quick map, stay with UG.

TGM asks many questions to build a profile, then crunches the plan. Touringplans lists the plans, you specify the date, and out comes a plan. I spent 1 day on TGM shortly before our trip (which was mostly planned), so I'm not an expert. Technical difficulties (which I'm sure are resolved) prompted me to ask for a refund.

Some will prefer one over the other for a variety of reasons. TGM has more information (i.e. "it's a bigger site") -- which can be a good thing, or perhaps a bit overwhelming. TGM has more tools to manage your entire vacation. Again, "YMMV" on whether that fits your needs, or not.
