Has anyone here tried this yet? It looks similar to TSM but without something physical to hold to shoot. Does it feel like what you're aiming at relly gets "webbed"? Looks a bit disappointing.

Yes, I’ve ridden it. It is similar to TSM in that it is a dark ride...however it is not a “first person shooter“. You are along for the ride prob describe it as more similar to Snow Whites Scary Adventures or Pooh but with a little more excitement as the typical enemies of Spiderman attack the vehicles and Spider-Man saves the day.

This is a ride at in the Avengers Campus at Disneyland's California Adventure.
This forum is just about Walt Disney World theme parks ... but there is a Disneyland forum here where they have lots of threads talking about the ride, strategies, etc.

I think OP is asking about the new Webslingers ride at Disney California Adventure (but may have put the post in the wrong forum...and now it’s been moved to the Disneyland forum). This description seems to align more closely to the Spider-Man ride at Universal in Florida.

OP- We rode Webslingers at DCA this past Tuesday and LOVED it. Yes, I did feel it accurately tracked my arm movements and you are able to accurately aim and shoot (and pull- you can also shoot webs and use them to pull on things). In some ways it is an evolution of TSMM but we still found it very enjoyable and can’t wait to go on it again. I enjoyed the “story” of the ride more than TSMM as well (which doesn’t really have a story )

Probably closer to ninjago ride at legoland. Not going to be pinpoint accurate, but that's why you buy the accessories to "heighten" your ride experience (and scores).

My boarding group is in a few hours. I’m excited to ride and explore AC and the only downside I see coming is really really sore arms
