Spicy Kazan Roll

How spicy is the roll? I like a little heat but can not handle a lot. Scale of one to ten....One being mild, ten being steam blowing out your ear. I have heard such great things but dont want to order something I would not be able to eat! Any input it much appreciated!

I would give it about 4. It has a "little" kick when you first bite into it but the rice and fish mellow it out. It is not wasabi "hot" at all. Very good and well worth ordering it!

I'm more sensitive to spicy foods than I even like to admit to myself, and I think that this roll is harmless. I too would give it about a 4. It's a brilliant and delicious roll. You should definitely try it.

I agree with the "4" rating. Do order it! It's seriously one of the yummiest things I've had at WDW.

The spicy kazan roll is delicious!! I like spicy foods, not crazy hot but a kick is good. I'd say the roll is a 3 for heat.

It's at California Grill. It has tuna, shrimp, crab, and bay scallops - last time I had it, the scallops were on top with the sauce.

In the occasion that it's too spicy, you could probably scoop off some of the sauce, but it really isn't that bad with the rice and fish to counter it.

Had this las Sept and it was absolutely the best sushi Ive ever had! We made CG ADrs just for this! It did have a bit of a kick, cleared my sinuses..LOL

my fiance raves about the spicy kazan roll, and it is brought up in my house almost every day he never stops talking about it. it must be good for him to be so obsessed with it

I'd say it is about a 4 or 5, not significant heat for me but enough that my 2yo doesn't care for it.
