Was just wondering, what is the general consensus of which table service restaurant in Morocco is better.

We gave up on Marrakesh several years ago after several very bland meals. Spice Road is one of our favorite restaurants in EP. The food and service are excellent and we love the atmosphere.

It really depends on what type of food you enjoy. We like them both, Marrakesh is more middle eastern fare, Spice Road is a mixture of food along the spice road so is not as middle eastern. They are really two different restaurants. I agree you should look at the menus. If we want lighter food we go with Spice Roads, especially at lunch. If we want heavier sort of hardier, we go with Marrakesh.

We ate one of our rare poor WDW meals at Spice Road in January 2017. On the other hand, Marrakesh is consistently solid, albeit blander than I'm used to from North African cuisine.

Both very, very good, each a little different from the other. Marrakesh has been one of the most consistent restaurants on property for us in terms of both quality and service. Gotta like the spice though.

I had a wonderful steak at SRT. Time your ADR so you can watch Illuminiations from your table. Haven't eaten at Marrakesh.

Look over the menus, but we love sitting on the covered patio by the water at Spice Road-even on the hottest day in summer. We shared the heirloom tomato salad and lamb sliders-and the mint ice tea is delicious

We much prefer Spice Road Table. While all of the more ethnic food at WDW has been Americanized to appeal to more palates we felt that Marrakesh suffers from that more than any other restaurant at WDW. We did enjoy our meals at Marrakesh but haven't been back since Spice Road Table opened. Spice Road Table works better for us because we like to split an entree or share a few appetizers instead of each getting a whole entree - there are lot of small plates available at Spice Road Table so we like to go when it isn't busy at all and linger on the patio by the water having a few drinks and appetizers. It's one of our favorites spots at Epcot.

I really enjoyed Spice Road Table, and would go again. I enjoyed it much more than Marrakech.

Both are good. Spice Road is smaller and you have the ability to sit outside by the lake if you like.
The atmosphere in Marrakesh is very nice.
The food in both is very different, so it would come down to the menu and your preference.
You won't go wrong at either.

For those who have been to Spice Road, do you know if they'll let you take your dessert to go? (And how big is the baklava dessert?) We are going for the Candlelight Processional and it seems like a lot of food for an app, entree, and dessert per person.
