Spice Road Table Candlelight Processional Dinner Package Questions

First time doing the candlelight processional sorry if these are repeat questions.

So we have a reservation for 4 but it's a possibility that it will end up just me and my mom. When we decide on the number of people how do we change the reservation with out having to cancel and rebook. I'm scared someone else will grab it when I change it. Can we just leave it alone and show up with two people or is there a penalty for that. I don't want to keep anyone who may want the additional 2 seats to miss out though.

Second - is this the first year for this package with Spice Road Table? Has anyone done it before. Did you like it? What were your favorite dishes. Our ressie is at 4:15 and show is at 6:45 should we just head straight to the theater afterwards?

I can't answer the first part. People have mixed results. At times, specially for an event, there may be tables for 4 available that are not for 2 people, and there may not be any tables for 2 available at all. so "converting" your reservation wouldn't be possible. However, I have also seen where Disney basically says 'whatever", keeps your table for 4, but notes its only for 2.

As for the second question, it's up to you. I have done the CP a few times, and after eating at coral reef, 2 hours before, we went to get in line, and were no where near the first in line in the VIP section line. The restaurants will know when you show is and target you for time to go get in line to see it. With 2 hours in-between when you eat and your show, expect a slightly slower service, and have about 45 minutes to get to the VIP line. you will probably be the middle of the pack, and on busy nights further back. Rest assured though, you will get a seat.

There's no penalty for showing up with only 2. Once you know, double check to see what's available and change it only if you can. I haven't done a package for spice road and I've only sampled apps. My personal faves are the calamari, the baked brie fondue, and the hummus fries. The hummus fries do not look appealing at all lol, but they are soooooooooo delicious!

We ate here twice during our Labor Day trip. If you like lamb, the rack of lamb was 4 small chops and very very good! CM told us that is what is ordered the most. Second choice was the chicken and beef skewers. Good, but the chicken was a little spicy.

I have the same question as you. I made a reservation for 5 for Biergarten, but we might be at 3-4. I think once I have the final count of who is definitely coming I will call and check. When are you guys traveling? If possible can you let me know how it all went down once you have your visit? We won't get there until Dec. 27th...
