SPH for repositioning cruise anyone?

I was just wondering if any one from the DIS was lucky enough to snag a SPH for one of the repositioning cruises?

Cat 9 room at a lower category rate, as they are partially obstructed.

apparently we got one of the rooms that was cat 6 and was reclassified as cat 7. All I cared about was (1) I am on the ship, and (2) I've got a balcony!!

We did also... There are only four of the "Obstructed verandah" rooms on the ship and all 4 of them were taken by people on the DIS then.

Which one did you get??

Grumbo, I think hubby is wrong --- we're in 5130 --- I don't think that's one of the cat 6 reclassified as cat 7. Oh well, I still have a balcony, so we're happy.

I was on the phone with DCL about 15 min after they started taking ressie's and the SPR were all gone by then. I went for my second choice and...

Hi Grumbo, I have one of those rooms!!!! My (will be) 4 year old DD and myself our in room #6634. I got a great early rate of $4426.78!

Edit to add we are on the CA to FL cruise.

Grumbo- we didn't get our SPH either for FL to CA. But just went online and the price I got and the price now is up $1,100. Glad I called and didn't wait.

The way the prices seem to be going through the roof is unbelievable.
What I can't believe is that the May 14 day cruise is at least 7 - 800 more than the August one.
Can't quite figure that one out unless Disney kept a bunch of cabins back, thus making the number available lower and causing the price to be higher.

I tried to to get the SPR but to no avail!!! The DCL agent told me it isn't a secret anymore!!

Although, I will be staying in the SPR on Deck 5, Cat 8 cabin for price of Cat 10 on my next 4 night cruise in November!
