SPG Problem

Hey!

We are going to be staying at Swan or Dolphin in June and I signed up for the SPG program last month with the hopes that it will increase our chances of an upgrade. The problem is, we have yet to recieve our card in the mail, and I just hope my parents didn't through it away. What do I do!?! I still have the temp card that I printed off from the website when I registered. Any help? Thanks!

Same thing happened to me. I still hadn't received it several monthes after I signed up. I called them and asked for a replacement and I had it about a week to 10 days later!
 
I never received my SPG card before we went to the Dolphin. I just called and gave them my number. When I called Starwood to say I didn't have my card, they said they don't send the card until AFTER your first hotel stay. Sure enough, my card arrived AFTER our stay at the Dolphin.
 
From what I remember they don't actually send you a real card until you have stayed in a property and then then mail it about 4 weeks later.
You dont need your card when you check in - just make sure your SPG number is attached to your reservation. That will be fine.
 

FYI: I signed up to SPG in July and got my card about 5 weeks later. I had made a resssie, but out actual stay is not until March '03.
