OH MY GOODNESS!! I LOVE NKOTB! I had posters of them over my bed when I was younger. What a great experience...and an amazing picture!! Glad you had such a good time

ME TOO! I had a poster of the five of them right next to my bed. It's funny because now NKOTB stuff is creeping into my room again. I have a giant button of Joey Mac that is propped up like a picture.

Haha was Kevin your favorite? I do miss him though!! I didn't think the ticket prices were too bad. I paid like $60 for floor seats which is how much I paid for upper level seats for Tim McGraw (its an outdoor place so not like indoor arenas, so its not bad!). They're meet and greet prices were redonk though, but I'm pretty sure they included pics and like a little private show or something!! That's so awesome!

Kevin was cute but I was a Nick girl. Then NSYNC came along and I completely forgot about BSB. They have a meet and greet? I know the New Kids one you meet them for like 30 seconds for a photo op plus a goody bag and a seat in the first 10 rows. It's $375!!!! Doesn't seem worth it.

I had a blast at the second show too but I didn't play this time! I used my winnings from Foxwoods to pay for that concert ticket.

What an awesome weekend! I'm so sad to be back at work.

Friday night I went to see...NKOTB! Again! This time it was at the Borgata in Atlantic City. Another awesome show and this time I was really close to the stage. I mean, I could see their facial expressions and everything! I'll post pictures later on today.

On Saturday I went with the girls to see SATC2. It was ok. I liked the first one much better. That was a little bit darker but at least it had a plot. This one...it was just so silly and over the top and NOTHING HAPPENED! I still enjoyed it because I love those girls but...meh, it wasn't anything special. After the movie, me and my girlfriends went out for dinner and drinks. I had a strawberry mojito. YUM!

Sunday was spent at a local beach bar called Donovans. It was gorgeous outside and we laid on the beach for a bit and then headed back up toward the deck to watch the local band play. The weather was so perfect and we had fun just people watching and dancing.

On Monday me and Kris went to Coney Island. Neither one of us had ever been before. WOW, was it crowded! We had a lot of fun though and went on both the Wonder Wheel and the Cyclone. Classics. And of course we got hot dogs at Nathan's!

And yesterday, Kris and I tried to go to a zoo in New York state but it started storming when we got there. So we went back by his house, where it was still sunny and went to another zoo there. But of course as soon as we walked through the entrance, it started coming down again. We took off for shelter and waited it out for about 10-15 minutes and the sun came out again. After the zoo, we went to play Monster mini-golf. I've never been anywhere like that! It's indoors and everything is horror themed and blacklit so it glows in the dark. I got a hole in one but he still managed to beat me. They also had an arcade there and he also beat me at air hockey (grrr) but I schooled him in skee ball!

I had such an amazing weekend, I didn't want it to end. That's the best weekend I've had in awhile! I promise a few picture posts later on day!

Work is quiet so I'm hoping I can get all these pictures up! Oh, if my boss only knew.

I'll start with NKOTB since that was the first thing I did this weekend! We (me and a fellow DISer named Shelby) got to the Borgata around 3pm. We had plans to meet on the highway and drive in together at 1:45 but I hit so much traffic that I didn't end up meeting her til 2:30! We hightailed it to the casino from there.

Nobody was really around yet except for the 5-star people who were lined up so we got our wristbands and went to get something to eat at the Cafe that was right next door to the venue. The security guy told us to come back at 5:30 but being seasoned NKOTB concert go-ers, we knew better than that. And it's a good thing because they lined us up practically right after we got done with lunch. Lines...

The 5 and 4 star people got let in first and they eventually let us into the venue, only to wait in yet another line outside the venue doors. Oh the joys of general admission!

We were let in around 5pm and didn't get inside until almost 7:30. We made friends with the girls behind us and in front of us and chatting with them passed the time. Again after the 5 and 4 star people went in, we were allowed inside. We were very close to the stage!

And the countdown begins...

And then it was time!

Joey's solo...swoon

My camera died right after his solo. Perfect timing. They were better this time than at the Foxwoods show. They seemed to be having more fun and were interacting more with the crowd. Or maybe it just seemed that way because I was right up front. One more show to go 6/18 at Radio City Music Hall.

How are they possibly going to make a SATC3? Nothing happened in the SATC2! They just ran around on vacation the whole time, there was no plot. They'd probably have Carrie be pregnant or something or marry off Samantha and totally ruin the legacy of the show. They need to quit while they're ahead! I liked the first one, was let down by this one though I still had fun with it, but a 3rd one is just overkill.

I'll be under 4 months soon!

I promised an update from the rest of the weekend (with pictures!) and here it is!

As I said, on Saturday I had a night out with the girls and we went to see SATC2 around 7:15. It was ok. I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. I love the SATC girls. But it was long and there really wasn't a plot. Nothing happened! It was a bit silly and over the top.

After the movie, we decided to go to an Irish pub (I forget the name...Mahoney's maybe?) for dinner and drinks. There was a live band there and we could barely hear one another when we were trying to talk! It was a good time though and we called it a night around midnight.

We managed to snap a picture of our drinks!

On Sunday, Kris and I met my friend Jen at a local beach bar named Donovans. It's a really fun place, right on the ocean. A very small part of it is indoors and they serve food like burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, etc and the rest is outdoors, with tiki bars plus a public beach and deck w/live music.

We laid by the water for a bit and went up by the deck as the band came on.Jen left not too long after that and my friend Annemarie showed up. We spotted this guy who looked suspiciously like John Hammond from Jurassic Park. Let's see if you can find him...

Monday was spent at Coney Island! Wow, was it crowded! I've never seen a place so packed. Kris and I still managed to have fun and got on the classic rides: Cyclone and Wonder Wheel. They've been there for almost 100 years! We also went on these swings that went about 100 ft in the air and went ridiculously fast. Kris didn't like those so much... And of course we stopped to get a hot dog at Nathan's! Neither one of us had ever been to Coney Island before and I'm not sure if I'd go back. Driving through the city can be a pain and apparently that place is that crowded all the time. Who knows? Maybe during the week next time. At least I can say I've been there!

Bonus points to anyone that can tell me which NKOTB video this was in!

The rest of the pictures were taken from the Wonder Wheel. They have two kinds of seats. The stationary seats that go around like a regular ferris wheel and the swinging cages that..well...swing. They're on a track on the inside of the ferris wheel and slide back and forth. The people in the row in front of us were screaming bloody murder! Kris and I were cracking up.

Since I'm working Saturday this weekend, that means I got an extra day off during the week. So I picked Tuesday to extend my weekend! Kris had that day off too and we took a ride up to this place called Bear Mountain in New York. As soon as we got there, it started storming so we turned back and came back toward his house. It was nicer around his area so we went to a zoo near his house. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as we walked in the zoo, it started pouring. But only for about 10-15 minutes. After that it was all sunshine and hot weather. It was kind of like being in Florida!

After the zoo, we went to Monster mini-golf, which is this indoor, glow-in-the-dark monster themed place. Kris ended up winning (BOO!) and we played some games in the arcade. Skee-ball, air hockey, some Terminator game, basketball, and Ms. Pacman! Then Kris took me home and we capped off the weekend by watching Glee! LOL. Love that show!

Hope everyone had a great weekend as well! Tomorrow I will be at my four month mark, can you believe it??

I think that was the closest I've been to NKOTB. Minus the Donnie picture from last time!!

Some of the clothes in SATC2 were ridiculous. There was one outfit Samantha wore that was Lady Gaga-esque.

I live near Sandy Hook but I usually go to the beach down in Belmar.

I guess they got the idea for DCA from Coney Island! The Wonder Wheel has been around forever. I thought the swinging cars were so much fun but I can understand why people wouldn't like it!

They all say watch the boys perform 3 or 4 songs (I would assume that means in a more private thing then the actual concert), then a Q&A, and the highest level includes a pic with the boys, a pre-signed pic, a backstage tour and "more". Whatever that means. If only I had $500 to throw towards my adolescent loves.

Wow! Their VIP sounds much better than the NKOTB VIP. You get a meet and greet and a photo with them but from what I've heard, it lasts all of 30 seconds and you're with a group of about 10-15 other girls. If one of them wasn't being very talkative or in a bad mood, I'd be really frustrated after paying all that money!

I wonder if I went to Coney Island during the week if it would be so crowded? Maybe we'll try again later on during the summer. We still have credits left on our ride card for the one pier!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I had to work Saturday but yesterday we had a family BBQ for my nephew's 4th birthday. It was fun! It was SO hot out though and it started to rain for about 10-15 minutes. I just stayed outside and sat in the rain. It was refreshing! After that it cooled off. I stuffed myself with food. My tummy didn't feel too good when I got home last night But I'm ok now!

So time to get back to the PTR after my NKOTB updates.

DAY 1 - Arrival and MK

So our flight gets into MCO around 4:30. My cousin Chris decided he's flying in from the Philadelphia airport but hasn't gotten his airfare yet. I told him to get a flight that gets in around the same time as us so we can all get to the hotel around the same time. He'll be set up for Magical Express unless we both get in at 4:30 and then he can hitch a ride with us! We're renting a mini-van.

I'm hoping we'll get to SSR and be checked in around 5:30ish. I'm sure we'll all be hungry so maybe we'll head to Artist's Palette to eat or DTD or maybe we can wait til we get to MK. It all depends on how everyone is feeling. I'm hoping we'll get to MK by 7. It's open til 10 regular time but EMH extends it til 1 am!

Space Mountain - I'm hoping this will be our first ride. It was closed when I went last year so it's been awhile since I've been on it!

Don't Care To Do:
Stitch's Great Escape - there aren't many things I dislike about MK but this ride missed the mark. If other people are interested, I won't say no, but I tend to pretend this ride isn't even there!

I'm not a big IASW fan but I'm a little bummed it'll be closed. That's the ride everyone associates with Disney World and the first timers won't get to see it!

What are your favorites in MK? Did I overlook anything? Of course we'll be stopping for Dole Whips! Can't forget about that! We'll also get a million shots of the castle, I'm sure. I want a group shot of all of us in front of it.
