Spending money...

oh before i forget and I have everyones attention:

I was thinking about renting a double stroller. Do you think the City Mini Double will be good for the 7 year old. She's about 48 lbs and very thin.

Which is better, Kingdom Stroller or Orlando Stroller.

TIA

Haven't rented a stroller but my now 8 year old strolled quite a bit when we visited WDW *10/09 - she was 6 then, had she been 7 I'm sure she would've strolled almost as much; it was hot and muggy, heck I wouldn't have said no to a Shannon size stroller :rotfl: DD's Disney stroller from 3-7 was a Mac Volo.

I do. As someone who scored in the top 5% of the nation on the SAT in English and Languages and has a grandpa who was an English professor; grammatical correctness is important to me.

If grammatical correctness is important to you, you may want to look into the use of a semi-colon (specifically the fact that it separates two clauses).

But, in general, I do agree with your post. A few minor slip-ups are one thing, but total disregard for the basics makes it hard for others to understand what is trying to be conveyed.

ETA - I'm probably the one that is wrong about the semi-colons (and have opened myself up for a shot), but...

Plus the summer. Based on what I pay, the "hour or two" after school would cost more than what your DH is paying in child support each month.

Oh, I forgot about the older girls! She'd have to make a lot of money to afford full time childcare for her little ones, plus aftercare and fulltime childcare for the other two over the summer.

She does have one less than I do, but I imagine her life is pretty hectic as it is, and it will just get worse as the kids get older.

Grammar is very important.

It's why "'Jack! Off the horse,' Grandma shouted", is different from "'Jack off the horse,' Grandma shouted."

:lmao:

Or...

"Let's eat, Grandma!" Instead of, "Let's eat Grandma!!"

Punctuation saves lives! ;)

My brother and sister-in-law (both lawyers) have each had cases where everything hinged around the interpretation of the contract where the interpretations were due to punctuation. The staffer who typed a semi-colon instead of a comma into a contract lost one company millions of dollars (and made millions for the other company).

Your examples are way more funny.

A while back someone posted on these boards a coupon for The Twilight Saga, New Moon DVD that because of a punctuation error I got the movie for $4. It was a $16 off coupon and you were supposed to buy 4 movies, but because of the error it read you only had to buy 1. I am horrible at grammar so I couldn't tell you if it should have been a semi-colon or a comma but whatever it was it was wrong.

she chooses to live this way and she has a husband and she doesn't go with out... she takes them places like NH and local things but if she got a job she could save money like I do so she can take nice trips too...

hey she probably resents me for having money to do things she could only hope. Idon't know

Resent you? Why? You didn't work your fingers to bone and tuck away every penny to make this trip happen. In your other thread you said you took out a $4000 loan in order to go to WDW.

You mean when your husband's children get the money that he owes them.

he deposits it into to her account, thats all the account is used for and gets a receipt and keeps every receipt...

:rotfl2:Maybe you should hire a lawyer or watch judge judy... those deposits receipts mean NOTHING!!!! Does he have a written agreement (even out of court) that he is paying $75 per week... Even so. I'm sure the judge will laugh @ this agreement. The same as everyone else on this board has... and Hubby will be paying back support!!! that is an acceptable amount to actually support a child on

Milks you dry? He probably owes her thousands in child support at this point. One bill YOU don't have to worry about? Does your DH work? You are paying for this vacation, you have to worry about his child support, you have to worry about possibly giving the girls money on the trip. What kind of loser did you marry?

Ah - now I can plainly see that you have absolutely NO animosity or resentment toward this woman. Nothing but warm, fuzzy, good intentions coming from you.

:sad2:

Wow! I have been trying really hard to not go here, but you need to grow up. Seriously. I hope those two girls have at least one adult in their life who has their best interests at heart.
