WE ARE LEAVING FOR OUR 4 DAY CRUISE THIS WEEKEND. I WAS JUST WONDERING HOW MUCH SPENDING MONEY WE'LL NEED (NOT COUNTING THE EXCURSIONS). HOW MUCH?

Just got back from a four day Wonder and I spent alot of money!! Husband and I are both drinkers, that's where the bulk of our money was spent. If you are too, bring it with you and you'll save a ton! We (family of four) spent over $800 on drinks, mugs, arcade cards, spa treatment (unlimited rainforest visits for $45...I only went once. There just wasn't enough time to go more than that) and souviners. My advice is to take twice as much as you think you will need. This did not include excursions but did include an onboard credit of $250. Hope this helps.

we usually bring cash in separate envelopes to tip cabin steward, head waiter, waiter, and asst waiter. This is a personal decision as to how much to give.(if you don't want to bring cash for tips, you can charge this to your card at guest services)
Also, I bring $5.00 in singles per day and leave in the safe to tip room service
We also bring a couple of hundred to spend in ports if we see things we like from street vendors et al who dont take credit cards.
Also, don't forget a few dollars for postage and postcards at Castaway Cay

On what you do. If you drink alot and like to shop you will need money. If you don't drink or bring your own you will be much better off. My GF and I sailed in Jan , it was her first trip away from her 5 kids ever (kids range from 20-5) we went nuts on spa treatments. We were on the 4 day Wonder we had a treatment every day. Lucky for us I won $1400 in Nassau playing blackjack so I split it with her to cover our spa/shopping bill. If we hadn't won the money we would not have shopped as much, but the spa we still would have done, it was great to spoil ourselves with those treatments.
I'm leaving Thur. for 3 day with my dad I don't think we will spend much time in the spa or shopping so I'm hoping this trip will be much cheaper.

BTW my friend "earned" the money I gave her because when I was winning she would come over and confiscate my chips so I wouldn't spend them back, my judgement might have been a little impaired from too many Sea Breeze's.

I called her a few bad names as she was "stealing" my chips, but kissed her in the end.
