Hi all
You guys are the best!
I have a question. My hubby, daughter and I are going in July. I have booked the dining plan. As for spending money, what would be a good amount to bring.
Thanks so much

Hi all

I think that is extremely hard to answer. Here are a few things to think about:

If you are doing the regular dining plan, how do you plan on paying for tips for the table service restaurants?

What would you guys normally spend on souveniers on a trip? Probably should double that.

Are you taking your own water/soda/etc. or are you fine with drinking tap water from the water fountains and/or getting ice water from quick service restaurants? If you are not bringing bottled drinks/water and are not a fan of tap water, you can probably plan on buying quite a bit of drinks while you are there in July.

Are you guys big snackers throughout the day? On our first trip, our son was exhausted but refused to sit in the stroller - unless he had a box of popcorn sitting in front of him. We needed a lot of money for popcorn.

Besides hotel, tickets, & food (in your case, the DDP), I always budget money for souvenirs (~$100/pp), refillable mugs if you're staying on-site ($11.99?), taxi if we want to go quickly from our resort to another resort for dining, parking at our home airport, & like the PP said, tip $$$.

I agree that spending depends on the person- How old is your daughter?

Will you be alloting money for soverneirs per day or per trip?

We have a set amount for soverneirs-- when its gone its gone.

I have been putting money on a disney gift card each month to pay for tips and anything extra we might want to order for our sit down meals.

wow thats hard to answer i could spend a fortune at disney.
Have a great trip!

Yes, it's hard to answer your question but just bring extra enough for all of you.:thumbsup2

Have a nice and safe trip coming. :)
