Spending money for kids

I give my dd 5$/week allowance. One for charity, one for long term savings, one for disney, two for spending. Then, at WDW, I give her $5/day for her to save/spend as she wants on top of the money she's saved. I usually buy ice cream, since I'm the one that usually wants it! In July, she did great, and was really thoughtful about what she bought.

i don't think it asks too much at all i think it might even teach them to value it a bit more my dtr saves her b day x mas and all the spare change she can find and she can't wait until we get to disney to spend it i will give her limitations of course
