We are arriving at MCO on a Friday Morning at 12:01 am. We have booked a room at an Airport Hotel for the first night (really morning). We plan to sleep late (until about 10 am or so) and pick up the car the next morning. We have reservations at the Residence Inn for the next three nights (free with points) so we are staying offsite. I don't want to waste a park ticket for only 1/2 day so I would like to spend Friday afternoon touring the resorts. Whice resorts are not to be missed? I know I want to check out AKL and WL. Any others?

I have only stayed onsite once and that was the Carribbean Beach so I haven't seen any of the resorts. I would like to have dinner at Pepper Market so I think we will check out Coronado Springs while we are there.

Could someone suggest an itenerary or map out a good course that we should follow? We do have a rental car, but would rather use Disney Transportation (we have hopper passes). We are also traveling with a 9 month old.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I don't really know anything about the resorts, but from reading about them, they sound lovely.

I think all of the monorail resorts (CR, Poly, GF) are worth a visit, and you get to ride the monorail to boot!

The monorail stops at all of those resorts? That's great!

I love visiting AKL and WL, but usually schedule a eating session there when I go to one of those. Obviously you would have to drive to each one of these to get there.

Since the monorail stops at Poly, Contemporary, and GF, you'll probably get to see more because of how quickly you can get to each one.

The Coronado is one of my favorites. If you want to stop by this resort too, I'd stop by when its dusk/dark. Its a very beautiful resort at night, especially walking around Lago Dorado.
