Yeah, I would think so.
We aren't a souvenier family, but I have spent less than that on most of my trips.
Last time we went I bought:
A fleece cardigan for myself for $50.
A sweatshirt for each of the kids $20
Clearance shirts for each of the kids for under $10
Each kid got a stuffed doll (Mickey for him, Minnie for her) $25 each (approximately)
And they both got ears with their names on them (can't remember - around $10 embriodered).
So the three of us (my husband is a different matter, I don't put him on a budget, but I think he came home with two twenty dollar t shirts ), spent around $200. But, as I said, we aren't a big souvenier type of family.
I did buy an animation cell once - that was a pricey souvenier trip. But that is the exception for us.
There are certainly families who travel on a lot less than we do. And families that travel on a lot more. You need to define how much you are comfortable with you kids spending. If its a buck or two, they can get pencils
