OH. I didn't see that restriction on 3 per order. I just ordered 10 in one transaction. The transaction went through. I guess we will see if it gets cancelled.

thanks for the heads up and congrats for those that got it.....I just called Spiegel and they say they are not taking orders for this bear right now, they say they've run out and will take orders again for it starting the 14th.

I ordered 3 of the bears yesterday along with some shorts - called this morning to add something else to my order and I was told my bear order was canceled because they had run out so I told her to cancel the whole order.

The lady I spoke said that because I ordered it online it takes 2 or 3 hours longer to process which is why it allowed me to add it to my shopping bag - supposedly they could be out of them before the online orders register. What happened to putting things on backorder??!! There was an earlier post that said they were going to have them back in stock in another week or so.

I ordered 3 on 1/2 and I am now being told they were cancelled. It seems that many of these online "shopping" websites are doing this now. They advertise a sale product to increase their "hits" and get credit card and address info only to cancel the order without having to provide the product. They then increase their advertising potential for their websites and have a built in mailing list as well. It has become ridiculous with these idiots. I would bet there are thousands of cancelled orders. I can guarantee you I will not order another thing from Speigel.
