Speculation on January 2013 FD?

Anyone else care speculate when they think the January dates for FD will begin? Last year it was Sunday, 1/8. So this year I was thinking it would be Sunday, 1/6. Obviously I know this is just speculation and I am not taking it to the bank, but I am trying to get a general plan going.

With marathon weekend being Jan 12-13, I doubt Free Dining would open up just a few days before. Hope I am wrong though!

The dates might be limited for FD, but as there are 5 days from the 5th until the 10th maybe there might be a small window. I don't see the Mouse doing it though. I used to love going in early january as it is my daughters birthday, but the marathon has put paid to an otherwise great time of year. Good Luck.

2012 dates:

Jan 8 - 14, later revised to Jan 8 - 12
Jan 22 - Feb 4, later revised to Jan 21 - Feb 2
Feb 12 - 18, later revised to Feb 11 -16

I was hoping it would open up 6-11.

Does anyone have an idea when or if they are going to release the Free Dining Dates for January 2013? We made our reservations for the free dining package last year for our January 2012 trip around mid-August. I'm wondering if they are going to go ahead and release any free dining packages for Jan 2013 when we can start booking online July 11? Ugh. All of the unknowns are driving me crazy!! So excited to get our trip booked with hopefully free dining since we're quickly approaching the 180 mark!

I wouldnt imagine they would give discount codes on the same day the open up booking for 2013. They woudlnt know by the 11th if they will need to "encourage" people to book by then.

I expect mid-august or so ... that's been the pattern for FD

I'm currently planning on visiting the 5th - 12th/13th...really hoping for FD!
