Spectromagic on EMH night (avoid departing crowd)?

We want to see Spectromagic, but would like to avoid the mass exodus after the parade & fireworks. So we are thinking of going on an EMH night, figuring many guest might stay on after the fireworks. Is this a correct assumption? or can we avoid the exiting crowds by situating somewhere on the parade route and leaving before the fireworks? Will we be able to see the fireworks on our way back to the GF?

If you stay for the Fireworks (Wishes) on ANY night, there will be a "mass exodus" from MK following that show.

You COULD choose to leave after Spectromagic and before Wishes (you will still be far from "alone" as you exit.) I'd suggest you see Spectro on Main Street near the MK exit.
The RR station is a great place for Spectro (very bad for Wishes) but you'd need to find a spot up there VERY early on most nights.

You can see an obstructed view (the boats have a "roof") of Wishes from the little boats that take you to GF (and Poly) from MK.

You can see Wishes from the Poly beach (they pipe-in the audio from the show) even if you're NOT staying there.

You can see them from TTC (they pipe-in the audio from the show) but you are not allowed to stand in the Ferry loading area.

You can see them from the boat-dock at the Grand Floridian (small area).

As for restaurants (you need ressies, and I'm sure they are sold-out for those nights during the shows)... you can see (and hear) them at 'Ohana at Poly, California Grill at Contemporary, and Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian.
