I printed May park hours and shows yesterday.
Is "Spectromagic" in MK @ 9PM the "Electric Light Parade"?

Haven't been to WDW since 2000 and even bought an Electric Parade T-shirt since I loved it so! (still in great condition after many washings BTW!)

I was at MK last night and was waiting to see this Spectro Parade. I ask a cast member what time it started, because I couldn't find my schedule. She said there is none, thst the schedule is made a year before....I was disappointed :confused3

Spectromagic is a parade using lights, but it is so much more sophisticated than the old Electric Light parade.

I am going to Disney in December. Are you saying there is no a longer a Spectromagic Parade? Say it isn't so. :wizard:

The cast member just said there was no spectro magic parade and i ask if it would be on another night and she said no. If you look at the schedule for last night it said spectro parade.

I will find out if later, when the parks are open later if there will be a spectro parade.

Oh so I will SURELY love this then! :cool1:

I noticed in your sig you did the marathon and are doing it again in May - very best of luck with that & will pray it is mild weather for you!!
How are the crowds @ that time? Should we avoid DTD area or any specific places 5/5-7?
I ask because we were considering Cirque in that time frame.

thanks for the help. :)

We are doing the big Marathon weekend in January not May. But I was at WDW the weekend of the Minnie Marathon in May (not to run) and it seemed to be the usual May crowds. Not small but do-able. DTD was alittle crowded compared to other trips, but you should be fine with the Cirque as long as you have tickets. They are at the far end and parking is usually okay down there. Give yourself plenty of travel time just in case.

Electric Parade never WOWed me, but Spectromagic gives me mousebumps - so I think you will love it !

Reserved our Cirque tickets today and decided to keep rental car one more day just to accomodate this DTD evening (we needed rental to visit fam before WDW anyway). Thanks for advice!

Sadly, Spectromagic is only listed every other day in the May hours I have and not on either night we plan to be in MK. However we have intentionally kept 2 days and 2 nights open for touring flexibility.
We'll confirm Spectromagic hours 48hrs before we arrive in WDW just to squeeze this in somehow.
