We are doing Disney in Dec. Where is the best place to watch Spectromagic and Wishes with a disabled child(10 yrs old)? She will be in a wheelchair type stroller. I also have a 6 yr old son that will be with us. Thanks for your help.

i went this past december and watched spectro and wishes from caseys. caseys is on mainstreet right before the hub. i saw the first spectro at 8 but got to the spot at 7 because places were filling up. parade is 30 minutes so after the parade i stayed put for wishes which started at 9 good spot to see tink fly and all fireworks.

For Spectro, check the MK Guidemap for the locations of the handicap parade viewing areas. Normally they will have the wheelchairs up against the rope and then people standing behind the chair.

Be sure to get a "stoller as wheelchair" sticker and/or GAC at Guest Services at the first park you go to.

As far as Wishes!, I will send you my secret location in a PM.

The bridge between the hub and Tomorrowland was very good for Wishes when we were there in September. We arrived about 10 minutes before it started and there was no one else there. I wheeled up against the railings with my feller beside me. The fireworks don't line up properly behind the castle, but it's still wonderful.

Have a great time!

There is a disabled area for parade/ firework viewing across from townhall on Main Street. It isn't too close but your view isn't blocked... plus you don't have too far to go to leave and get on the boat/ monorail... fighting crowds to get out can be challenging with a stroller/wheelchair. Our 10 yr old uses a Convaid and it'ss big but people still try to step over her to get past us!

When we went last summer, we watched Spectromagic in the wheelchair viewing by the statue. Then we turned and had a great view for Wishes. We could see the castle and Tinkerbell. In order to use the wheelchair seating, you'll need a sticker to signify the stroller is used as a wheelchair. You can get it at Guest Relations...
