Spectro and Wishes question

This will be our first trip so forgive the silly newbie questions....
Since (according to last years hours) Spectro is at 8 and wishes is at 9 I am assuming the spot I have to watch spectro will be the spot I have for wishes- correct?
Is it reasonable to assume I can see both from the same spot? Anyone have any tips for a good spot?

depending on where you park yourself for spectro you maybe able to see wishes from same spot. I know i sat in liberty square for spectro in front of pin store and than moved over by those things you put your hands/head trough to watch wishes and I had a semi good view but if I'd really wanted to see wishes I would have had to move closer to castle.

You *could* change spots between them, but I don't recommend it. I'd find a nice spot looking right down Main St-- if you don't have little kids, maybe the train station by the entrance (but you'll need to get there really early), and if you do have kids, maybe on the curb just below that so the kids can interact more (need to get there pretty early too). When we waited for Spectro on the curb below the train station, the CMs pulled a bunch of kids into the street to play games. It was fun to watch DD4 in her Princess Minnie hat playing duck duck goose.

You can see Spectro from Main Street and remain there for Wishes. However, you can also view Spectro from Frontierland or Liberty Square which are not good places for Wishes. My suggestion is to view Spectro wherever you can get a good spot (Frontierland is where we like), then move over to Tomorrowland near the bridge for Wishes so you have a good view of Tinkerbell.

However, if you are already on Main Street for Spectro, you can stay put for Wishes and have a wonderful view.
