Spectators at Beach Club

My inlaws and my kids will be staying at Beach Club marathon weekend so that they can see us during the race. Last time I ran the marathon I remember running be Beach Club but I can't remember exactly where on the property the race goes by. I want to be able to tell inlaws exactly where to stand. Anyone know where I should tell them to be? Can they set up camp chairs to sit in while they are waiting (not ahead of time, to hold a space or anything like that).

Yeah they will know where to go when the time arrives.


If memory serves me correctly:

Do you where that entry is to the back of Epcot? You exit the DBC and turn left ... the water will be on your right and you walk towards Epcot. Then you go up a ramp where a bridge is...it is around that area that the runners are in...

I am sure others will post more exact locations...so when you arrive you can walk them to area's where they can view.


I am now sitting here thinking about this...I did this race last year and suddenly lost all memory of it! Funny.

It's along the sidewalk encircling Lake Crescent. They may be able to set up camp in lawn chairs, though probably better along the Yacht end of the Yacht/Beach Stretch. The only reservation I have on the Beach end is the funneling of guests, spectators and runners into a rather narrow chute at the Epcot end of the course.
