Crikey, I haven't finished planning this year's holiday, and I'm already starting on next year

According to disney.co.uk on the free dining plan:

Book between August 25 and November 6, 2006 for arrivals between August 12 and September 29, 2007 to get this delicious deal.

Does this mean that if we arrived on 29 September we could have the free dining for the length of our stay (probably 7 nights)? Anyone have any clear ideas on this? It would most likely be end of September we would want to be at Disney (hmm, well would actually like to be there all the time but I guess that's not relevant!)

Thanks in advance.

as long as you arrive on or before 29th september you will be fine. We don't come home until 1st october and have the dining plan for all our nights

Can you have the free dining for 14 nights with the ultimate ticket and which hotels are in on the offer? (Says for stays at select hotels)

You have to buy an ultimate ticket at the same time you book the hotel to get the free dining, and I think it is all Disney hotels - but I could be wrong.

yes, as long as it is during the dates of the offer.

Are these on holidays booked through Walt Disney World direct only or is this on any holiday meeting the criteria booked with any tour operator/travel agent

I just booked thru Airtours (My Travel) and got the deal - also seen it advertised with Vigin and First Choice although with First Choice you had to book by phone to get it.

TCD also offer it.

Virgin at the moment are also doing 3 free nights for stays over 7 nights at Pop Century, Yacht and Beach Club and i think Coronado Springs. You can combine this with the free dining.

We have secured the free DDP with Virgin after a lot of hassle and endless calls to their indian call centres who at first didnt even know what the DDP was!! :confused3

But we are now going to Pop Century for 14 nights in September 07 with 4 ultimate tickets (2 adults and 2 kids) and free dining for £2522.

So we are very pleased!!

Does anyone know how many park tix you have to buy for the normal US free dining offer? I thought it was one base ticket for one day per person in the room (rather than per day of your stay as ours is). In which case their offer sounds like a better deal, especially as we're being forced to buy our ultimate tix through the TA and they're usually cheaper through the online ticket companies.

I booked mine for this year directly through Disney USA and we just bought 1 base ticket each, they are about $65 i think.

Thank you all for your help! Looks like we will be able to get the free dining plan then. So booking for next year will keep me out of mischief when we get back in October then :goodvibes

I found with the 10% flying club discount (or the weekend bank hol discount) Virgin was *just about* cheaper (comparing to Attractions tickets direct) but most of the TAs cost more.
