Hi Everyone!

I'm trying to find specific room numbers to request when making my reservation for our October stay at WDW. I've gone through the entire CBR thread(which is awesome, thanks Safetymom!) and was unable to find my answer so I'm hoping someone who's been to CBR recently will be able to help.

Does anyone know the room number(s) for a corner room, on the second floor with a king bed, and a waterview in Aruba?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!:wave2:

no idea--sorry...but did you try posting this on the CBR thread? I just stayed there in may, but that board answeredsooo many of my questions!

I don't know the room number but I think if you ask for a general area that would be better.

Depending on the time of year a specific room number request would be hard to grant.

By only asking for a certain room you are setting yourself up to be dissapointed if the request isn't granted.

Personally I think a water view room is a waste of money. Most rooms it is hard to see the water from your room. The room you want may be different but I would save the money and use it to buy yourself a nice dinner somewhere.

Its not in the building you want, but I have to say westayed in Jamaica room 4427 and LOVED IT!!!! It was pool view, and actually it was right outside our door....which was GREAT! I could see when the pool was empty and have it all to myself, also we were right at the bridge to walk over to the foodcourt area....so keep this room in mind just in case, it was great

If I remember correctly, we stayed in room 5444 in Aruba with a king bed and a water view!:earsboy:

Thanks for the info everyone!!

Blueeyes: I did go through the entire CBR thread and unfortunately nothing fit my description, but thanks for your suggestion. I too have found lots of helpful info from that thread.

Safetymom: I'm actually paying extra to get the king bed and just hoping when I get there I can also get lucky with the waterview. But thanks for the dinner suggestion!

Minky: I'll definitely consider your room if they are unable to give us a room in Aruba that fits what we're looking for!

LI Annie: Thank you so much for the specific room number, I'll be sure to mention it with my reservation!!!

Thanks again!!!

I have been looking for the CBR thread......can't seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi deedeew80~ Welcome!

The frequently Asked Questions for all the resorts is now located up near the top of the first page -- I think it is the third one down that is entitled Important: Frequently Asked Question Threads Here. The moderators keep them all there so we don't have to page through everything looking for them. Here is the link to the CBR Thread.

You would be better off giving a description of what you are looking for rather than just a room #. If you request room 5444 and that room is already occupied when you get there, they have no idea why you wanted that room and will just put you anywhere.

Thanks DebbieB,

I guess I will just stay with my original request of a King room, and then when I arrive I will just ask if that room also includes the additional specifics (corner room, waterview, etc.). Or if there is one that matches the requests available.

But at least I have the 5444 as a possible specific request when I arrive there. Whatever I get I'm sure I will be happy as it appears most people who stay there truly enjoy it. And hey, I'll be in Disneyworld and that's all that counts!

Thanks again everyone!

I would put waterview and corner room on your requests because many times rooms are preassigned. It may be too late when you get to the front desk.

We've stayed in Aruba 5101, 1st floor, corner, waterview (barely), just a short walk over the bridge, nice quiet room, very shady area. We've also had the pleasure of being assigned Trinidad North 3101, the best room in the place in our estimation, close to the "action" but still a quiet, corner room and separated from the lake only by a path and some landscaping. We have been told by mousekeeping that all king rooms are corner rooms and that there are two in each building (??) Don't know how true that is, though. Good luck! The only "bad" rooms in the place seem to be those in Trinidad South if only because they are so far away from the food court, customs house, etc. No problem if you have a car though.

Chances are that if you request a specific room number, you will not get it. And even in the extremely unlikely situation that the room assignor shuffles things around just right to accomodate it, there's also the chance that someone else might take it off your res to give to someone else, and then reassign you to another room.

It is much better to request general things, like a view or bed type. Getting too specific, or requesting too much will significantly decrease your chances of getting the type of room that you want.
