Specific Location Requests

I am just wondering; for those of you who have done the program and requested specific locations during your phones interview...did you get what you requested/what are the chances of actually getting it?

I was accepted fro Spring '09 as Merch but had to decline. I didn't have any specific requests such as stores etc.., but I did request Magic Kingdom, and I obviously did not get to see if that request was fulfilled.

Also, does anyone know what the chances of a CP working in the Emporium is? I want to interview for Fall '12...early, I know, but that is the place I'd like to request.

It's about a 50/50 chance. Of my 6 CPs, I got the location I wanted for 3 of them, didn't get my choices for 1 of them, and didn't send in a request for 2 of them.

As for the Emporium, it's a pretty good chance of getting it (as the Emporium requires a lot of people).

I agree with Joanna. I requested once and got exactly what I wanted, and then the second CP I requested and didn't even get the role I wanted, let alone the location. Like she said, it's probably about 50/50.

I would definitely point out the location you want in the interview. The worst that can happen is they say no. What's to lose?
