Hi

Does anyone know anything about these??? I read something in the Brits Guide to Orlando about this being one of the best ways of seeing the fireworks at Epcot.

I have tried finding some more info on the WDW website but it tells you very little at all :confused3

From what I have read I think this might be a great idea for seeing the fireworks one night but has anyone ever done one that can let me know how good they are??

Thanks

Michelle

I'm afraid I can't tell you how good they are as ours is booked for 29th. However from what I've read they are very good.
Be warned though that they can be booked very quickly (90 days in advance), I called on the morning of the very first day I could make the booking and I got the last one.

Here's a round-up of what's offered, together with prices.

We've done the IllumiNations cruise 4 or 5 times, always with other DISers. Because they're difficult to get, not to mention expensive, it's common for people to hook up. There's a sticky thread on the Theme Parks forum explaining what they are and how to find one to share.

I can recommend a trip on 'Breathless'. DH booked it as a surprise for my birthday on our most recent visit. A beautiful boat - and a wonderful surprise. One of several, as it turned out! :)

We did both the Illuminations one and the Wishes one last may.
Booked both through the threads on the Dis
Really fantastic experience.

The wishes one was possibly more romantic due to being in the lake and distant from other boats (make sure you book on a trip with audio, they don't all have it)
Illuminations cruises you are moored next to other pontoons and under the bridge next to the UK terrace, so not so private. But still good.

Really recommend both if you haven't done before. Although I personally wouldnt do again, as don't think it would be as good second time. Looking for something different for next trip instead:goodvibes

We did Illuminations this year, and plan on doing Wishes next year as we enjoyed the trip so much.
As it was Mothers Day - and there were 3 mothers on the boat altogether - we also rang Disney Dining and organised a huge chocolate cake be delivered and this was waiting fo rus on the boat when we got there.

Thanks for all the posts, reading them has just confirmed that I should def try and get one booked!

Love the idea of the cake as well, it will be my Husbands birthday and my parents wedding anniversary whilst we are there so the cake sounds a great idea :thumbsup2
