specialty cruises

They're great, esp. during busy holiday times when the parks are mad, mad, mad. I took one and shared with another family for IllumiNations last Christmas, and it was a most relaxing way to watch the fireworks. We avoided the crowds at exodus as well, for we went from the marina to the BC bus stop, went to DTD and walked to SSR (which we were conveniently staying).
The cruise itself is fun, you get a tour of Boardwalk, Y&BC, all the while noshing snacks and soda. Afterwards, you may get a ride around the lake and see the countries all lit up pretty. During the show, you park under the bridge, which is a wonderful place to watch from.
As long as you share, and fill the boat, I feel it's good value for the money. But if you only have 4 or 5 people, then it seems way too rich for my wallet.
