special Westerns?

Since I've been busy planning my March WDW trip, I haven't been on this board much. Now it is over and I'm back to this, LOL.

I'd love a Special Western cruise but when I go to DCL website, none of those cruise dates come up on reservations. Does this mean they are sold out or am I doing it wrong?

Is there any rumor that they'll be adding more cruises with 2 CC days? (If I book a plain Western, it might become a Special?)

If I can't get a Special Western, would an Eastern itinerary be better than a plain Western? We are marrieds in our 30's with 2 kids - active family.

On the DCLwebsite, you have to go to 7 night cruises and look under Costa Maya. I think those are the special Westerns you are talking about(I hope that is what you meant). They have 2 stops at CC.
We are booked on the July 22, 06 cruise!!

I looked at all the Special dates, but the only ones i could go on were during the summer and the prices were just way too high. So I'm just going on the regular Western. I've been on it before and loved it. I'm sure you would to.

Also, I don't think Disney will change the intinery for any cruise they've already started booking, so your chances of lucking into a 2-stop CC are slim. But given that these Special dates have been so popular, I'd bet that they will add more of these dates when the 2007 cruises are announced.

I was just wondering when that would be. Anyone know? I checked the websites but no 2007 dates are out yet.
