Special tickets and Magicbands

Family is spending a day at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom before a cruise on the Dream.

I'm going on media tickets (usually picked up at will call)... However - My reservation email gave me the reservation numbers to book fast passes.

We are staying offsite (had gift cards to BedandBreakfast.com that we needed to use) and so I would have to purchase our Magicbands. However - I'm thinking the $25 would be worth it if we could link our park tickets to them and skip going to guest relations and head straight into EPCOT first thing?

(Sidenote: If we plan on ending the day at Magic Kingdom... We should plan on parking their and taking the Monorail to EPCOT right?)

I can't help as far as the tickets question goes, but you are correct about transportation. If you are starting the day at Epcot, and ending at MK, park at the TTC, and take the monorail to Epcot, then again from Epcot to MK. At the end of the day, you can take the Monorail, or Ferry from MK to TTC to pick up your car.

Linking MagicBands ahead of time will save you a trip to Guest Relations in the morning.

If you are in the area the day before, stop by any resort as the MBs will be for sale in the shops. Link the ID from the underside of the MB to your MDE account.

Thats what I was thinking... I had thought about buying them online. However - We will be there the day before and I think we will be making a stop at DD, so I may just get them at the marketplace the day before!

Are the DD magicbands only the basic colors?
