While making plans for my upcoming trip, I noticed that there was a special ticketed event from 8-11pm at Magic Kingdom on January 30. Does anyone know what this event is? This is my only night to see HEA so I’m wondering if the event will have any intact on crowd levels.

DAH guests were allowed to enter at 4 last year. We'll be there Jan. 30 for this year's event -- flying in just for that.

Unless Disney explodes the ticket count for DAH this year (and demand drastically increases as well), the numbers for DAH are not really big enough to ‘feel’ an impact, in my opinion. As PP said, for the 2016 and 2017 DAH events people with tickets have been let in starting at 4pm (official check-in is 7pm). Sure, this will likely add some more bodies in the park at that time, but it’s more of a rounding error in terms of park attendance than a massive new inflow of people, if that makes sense.

Thanks everyone. Debating leaving that as my HEA night or switching. Would rather not switch, would throw a wrench into our plans on other nights. We will just be there for the show so I guess if we find a spot early enough we should be good.

I know you're not asking for advice, but if this were me, I wouldn't change your night. It's a low(er) crowd time of year, which makes things more manageable, IMO. I wouldn't worry too much about it if you were already content with how you had your days laid out.

Thanks, I think you are right. Everything fits perfectly right now, so I’m not going to switch stuff around. Appreciate your input.
