Special ticket event and morning EMH

It turns out the 2 days I picket to visit MK, one of the days has a ticketed event from 7:45-9am and the other day has 8-9am EMH...I was really looking forward to entering Main Street at 8am, to see a less busy castle area until the welcome show. Is that still possible? What should I expect now for those days? I am thinking of switching to a new day, it just sucks because now I will have no chance of getting the FPS is want...advice? This is early March, in 3 weeks... TIA!

1. Is that still possible? What should I expect now for those days?
2. I am thinking of switching to a new day,

1. You can enter at 8AM on the "ticketed event" (EMM) day.
(You won't notice any difference.)
On "Extra Magic Hour" (EMH) day if you are staying at a WDW resort, you can enter Fantasyland and Tomorrowland starting at 8AM.
If you are staying off-site, expect to possibly be delayed at the TTC/MK parking lot until closer to 8:30AM.
2. You can do that, but if the FP thing is important (it would be to me) I'd keep
my original plans.
If you cannot (or don't care to) actually participate in the full AM EMH,
I'd not go to MK on that morning.
Also, the expectation of "less busy" Main St. between 8-9AM is a relative thing, regardless.

Great thank you Robo!! I will aim for 8am in the special ticket day and go regular time on the EMH day since we are not onsite and we do have FPs planned, that day is open later anyway, so my party will be happy to sleep a bit later:0) Thank you so much for clarifying!

If you like the rides offered, and can swing it, you might want to buy tickets for the EMM.
