I'm looking for something special to do for my future-wife on our disneymoon that I can plan without her knowledge.

We're already doing some special dinners and the hot air balloon in DTD.

I've considered the disney florist, water activities (parasailing, etc), and a spa. The florist is a bit much $ for what it is. The spa is the top runner right now but I'd probably just get it for her (not a couples thing) due to the price. What are the other options I might have?

We are having a morning ceremony, celebration lunch and a dessert party in the evening. To kill time between lunch and the DP, DF and I have already decided to head to DTD and do the balloon ride in our wedding clothes :)

One thing you might want to look into is the horse drawn carriage rides at Port Orleans Riverside. I believe it's $45.

I read on someone's trip report (geez I can't remember who it was! she was from the UK though) that she got a special menu for her man at Coral Reef that stated how happy and lucky she was to be marrying him, and got a scuba diver to come up to the window to hold up an "I love you" sign. I have NO idea about the logistics of that, but there are so many creative little touches I have come across while reading trip reports!! :thumbsup2

There are a few threads on here with lists of things to do on a disney moon that don't cost a lot. Anything from getting her favorite character to "present" her with a special present at a character meal, to getting a chocolate slipper for desert (they are around $12 - only at some restaurants). At Disney it is pretty much up to your imagination!

You can get affordable flowers delivered to your hotel from an outside vendor. You can pre order a special mini cake to be delivered to a restaurant of your choice to end off a special meal. You could both even go for pirate makeovers at Pirates League if she is up for it :rotfl: It WOULD make for some fantastic never-to-forget memories and photos! :wizard:

I hadn't even thought about doing something at one of the restaurants (Coral Reef is on our ADRs). The pirate league is pretty interesting :)

I think if you build tiny romantic things into the whole trip you will be good to go too. Bring an iPod with your song on it and slow dance during the fireworks... little things like that may melt her into goo and putty in your hands :rotfl:

Make sure to wear bride and groom ears too, from all accounts it adds to the magic. And matching tshirts make for awesome pictures :rotfl:

We're doing the pirates league with our daughters on our familymoon we're doing next week. I plan on stalking photopass people for romantic pirate photos. Definitely look into special things to do at restaurants, or even plan stuff yourself - I've read that the service people love to get in on surprises and "special touches" :thumbsup2

We did Lunch with an Imagineer on our honeymoon. It was our special treat for each other. It was a great experience and though not romantic, we really enjoyed it and would even do it again in the future....

There are all good suggestions and have given me either direct or indirect ideas. Thanks!

I called WDW Dining today and they no longer offer the scuba diver at Coral Reef :confused3 I did book something called a Sweetheart Dinner for 2 at Jiko, it is a dinner package with 3 courses and engraved glasses. Here is a link I used to find it...

what about the fireworks cruise?

you could do a behind the scenes tour, they are interesting and can be a lot of fun. they have several different ones, which vary in length of tour, and parks etc.
Someone once told me about a scavenger hunt type thing they did for a birthday.. that they would get clues which would send them on to the next clue. I don't recall where exactly they booked it through, but maybe if you googled it, or if someone else knows anything about it they can give you the info. Unfortunately the person who told me about it a few years ago has passed, so I cannot find out from her. But I remember when she told me about it, how awesome it sounded.

The scavenger hunt service is http://www.giftsofalifetime.com/.

I second the backstage tour idea. It doesn't sound very romantic, but some of the most fun we had on our honeymoon was doing the relatively inexpensive Behind the Seeds at Epcot Tour. We also did parasailing and lunch with an Imagineer, plus lots of fancy dinners. For our anniversary we did the Around the World at Epcot Segway Tour, which was also fun.

But the most romantic thing DH did for me was write me a sweet, thoughtful note each day and hide it someplace in the room for me to find.

I just want to suggest the Nature Inspired Designed segway tour in Epcot. It's a three hour tour that includes a lot of behind the scenes stuff in Epcot. So you get the best of both worlds--you get to ride a segway AND you get to go backstage and learn about some of the inner workings at Epcot :thumbsup2

It's not romantic, but me and DH really enjoyed it.

i agree with the carriage ride..we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter for our hm and i regret not doing that. We did things off property too.

We are both into history so we went to Kennedy Space Center and had lunch with an Astronaut.. and spent the day there. I hadn't been since 1979 and DH couldn't remember the last time he had been.

Also since we went in March and we are both baseball fans we went to a Braves Spring Training Game at Wide World of Sports.

both of these were a lot of fun.

The segway tour through epcot is fantastic! you get a discount if you are an annual passholder, disney visa card holder...maybe another discount, not sure what. But I loved it! You learn how to ride the segway and then you get to go through the countries before they open. My in-laws did it too and they loved it as well!
