Special "thing" for 11 year old

I think I posted this in the wrong forum before, but here it is....

Last trip to Disney my kids were 4, 4, and 7...We did not do any character meals or PS, just lots of park fun and meals at the hotel. This time around they will be 11, 8, and 8. I would like to do something special, but am not sure what they would think was "cool". I don't think a character breakfast would be too exciting for them. I had thought about Cirque de Soleil, but it's a little too pricey. Any suggestions on an "event" or PS that they would love??? We are staying at AKL.

Have you looked into the park tours they offer? If they are really into animals, I know there are a couple of these at AK. Might be worth a look,

I had thought about Disney Quest, but don't know too much about it. I will look into it more! Good ideas!
