this will be my 8th year in a row for doing HHN.
i am completely and totally addicted to it.

with that planning, i study the rates and seasons for on site hotels.

i started doing disney when it was just the MK back in 1974. my parents didn't like it so we didn't go back. i started back yearly to the mother land in 1993 and also the darkside.

i would not dream of not doing both parks.
i totally love universal for the atmosphere and better deals on tickets, rooms and the relaxed atmosphere there.

my disney is total planning and commando style touring.
then i transfer to universal for 5 days at least and get pampered and see everything at a much slower pace. it is like taking 2 separate vacations each year.

i don't know everything, but willing to share my experiences to anyone that needs help.

i can also find my way around the UO website and pull up things quickly.


i hope you get to see the darkside and have fun there.

I am trying to decide if I should stick with AAA or buy the AP if the discount is better.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for posting these rates! I had only been seeing the $244 rate for RPR and the best discount I could find was 10% with AAA.

I had called USO last week and was quoted an APH rate that was just 10% off so this rate that's 40% off is great!! Wow, $146.40 for RPR!! This is our first stay and I am soooo excited!!!

I don't think I will tell me kids (19 & 14) until we pull up to the hotel! They will freak out!!!

2 queen deluxe for 2 nights = $305 night/ 610 2 nights
2 queen deluxe club for 2 nights - $339 night

do it now or be put on a wait list if they are not available.

people cancel their ressies all the time and then rooms open up.

Looks like I'll stick with the super saver rate and skip buying the AP pass. I have AAA to get discounts off of food and merchandise so I guess if the ss rate is better it really isn't worth the extra money for the AP pass. Thanks again!!! You rock!

That's probably your best bet for now, but keep checking. AP rates fluctuate throughout the year and I suspect that the big AP discount rates for November haven't been released yet.
