I've been watching for Disney to come out with their next room special.
Today I find they have two, for October 22nd - December 21st
One is for general guests and the other is for AP holders

Book or modify quickly if you want/have those dates. I called this morning for my GC dates of Oct 25 - 27 and the standard room category was already sold out and I got the last woods view room. Those specials go quick for popular times!

Thanks for posting this - I actually made my reservation for my birthday early for a change!!

Thank you!! I've been watching for it and, ironically, was in Disneyland when it came out so only just got on the computer and saw this. Called and tried to rebook my standard room at GCH in Dec but it was sold out--and then one popped up at $400 while the CM was checking on other categories. I'm so happy!! Got the dining credit and fp's plus saved $400!

Thanks again, Geemo!

Got our DLH stay booked first thing this morning for our late November trip!

That's a great topic for a first post. Have a wonderful time!

And thanks for posting the information, Geemo. I just wish we could go back again so soon.

Tried to get it added to our 'DisneyMoon' 10/31-11/7---not available. :confused3:confused3

Bummer! Oh well.

Even though the dates 10/31 - 11/7 wasn't available, did you try sliding the dates to save on some of your nights?
DLH and GCH are available from 11/2 - 11/7

Which hotel are you booked in?

You'll be there over Dapper Days. Have you though about signing up with DD and booking through their event? Right now there's availability for all but the first night.

Any reason, other than just normal capacity, that these offers run through September 28th and then don't pickup again to October 22nd? After Oct. 22 there are even offers that cover Halloween and Thanksgiving. What's so special about those three weeks? Can't be halloween parties because there are some during the special offer weeks?

Halloween Season brings so much business that they don't need to fill rooms - offers are based on expected occupancy to sell rooms not just random dates tossed about.
More over the years I've noticed late Sept to mid October is actually BUSIER than the last week or so of Haloween time. That's my best guess but again working in the industry prior , offers are there to bring people in to maximize capacity typically.

Looks like the Racers have all the rooms booked at DLH and PPH all booked up :sad2: Everything else is available but those 3 nights. And honestly, how does anyone afford the Grand??? Whoa.

Thanks for the suggestion, Geemo! My agent was able to get it worked out with Disney to get the deal on the weeknights we are there. (DLH, Premium View). I looked at the Dapper Day deal, but it's on standard rooms only--normally I don't care about that sort of thing but it's our Honeymoon so I'm a little pickier.
Ended up saving about $500 or so. Thank you for the extra info that motivated me to work it out!

It definitely takes some effort to find savings when booking a trip.
SCORE!!! $500 is a major savings.

Good job for sure.

Does anyone know if they offer this promotion for the days following. We are gong Dec 27-Jan 1. I don't remember seeing any discounts last year. Does Disney offer any promotions around these dates for any of their hotels?

Seriously doubt It. That is the busiest week of the year.
