Fair point. But I’s love the option to request it without waiting on hold 5 hours!

I emailed in our dining rotation request using their online Contact Us form and heard back in a couple days that they added it.

I’m hoping that at some point they’ll allow you to pick your dining rotation when you check in… however based on their last ‘upgrade’ this may be a long time coming.

Based on past performance, maybe we should hope that they never do any more 'upgrades'

IMO, no. Everyone onboard will dine in all 3 dining rooms, with the same menus during the cruise.

That said, some people feel one or another MDR may feel more kid-friendly/romantic/quiet/festive/whatever on a special night for them.

We find it fun to be in animators on pirate night because they had pirate themed images up on the screens—makes it festive!

A specific rotation can also help plan what night to book Palo if you know what MDR menus you like and don’t like. For example, on the Dream/Fantasy the menu the first night you are at Enchanted Garden is not my favorite, but I would be really sad if I missed out in my souffle at Royal Court/Palace because I had Palo that night.

I don't worry so much about the rotations...I usually like to start in Animator's Palate - especially on the Classics - because it just gets me in the full Disney mode all the more!
